Made up of the towns Dentists, the punk band "The Brillsville Drills" went down in Brillsville Folklore when they performed at the 1979 Funfest Folk Festival as a favour when "Box of Clouds" failed to turn up on the day. One critic described their performance as "like having a root canal with a rusty crowbar" They were not asked back the following year. To this day that remains their only live performance.
